Privacy Policy

ResponseWiseAihelps you reply to customer reviews using AI. To do that, we send the review text and your preferences to our AI provider, and we store a small amount of data about your account and usage. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t track you across the web.

When you use ResponseWiseAi, we collect:

• Account information: your email address and a hashed password (managed by our authentication provider, Supabase).
• Subscription information:your plan, trial status, and a customer ID linking you to your payment method (managed by Stripe — we never see your full card details).
• Usage records: timestamps of the AI replies you generate, so we can enforce your weekly allowance and improve the service.
• Review text you process:when you click “Generate response,” the review text on the page is sent to our servers and forwarded to our AI provider. We do not permanently store review text or generated responses on our servers.
• Preferences and ratings:your tone and length settings, plus the 1–5 star ratings you give each response, are stored in your browser (in Chrome’s extension storage) to personalize future replies.

• Payment card numbers, CVCs, or bank account details.
• Browsing history, activity on unrelated websites, or any page content outside of the review you ask us to reply to.
• Location data.
• Analytics that identify you individually.

We use a small set of trusted services to run ResponseWiseAi:

• Anthropic— processes review text to generate replies. Anthropic’s privacy policy is at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
• Supabase— stores account, subscription, and usage records. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Stripe — handles payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Vercel — hosts our website and API. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not sell your data to any third party, and we do not share it with anyone else beyond the providers above.

• Account and subscription records: as long as your account exists.
• Usage records: we retain them to enforce your weekly allowance and produce your dashboard stats. Records older than 90 days may be purged.
• Review text and generated responses: not permanently stored. The text is sent to our AI provider, returned to you, and discarded from our servers.
• Ratings and preferences: stored locally in your browser until you clear them (via the Reset Ratings button in the extension popup) or uninstall the extension.

You can, at any time:

• Access the data associated with your account.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Cancel your subscription without penalty.
• Clear your locally stored ratings and preferences using the Reset Ratings button in the extension.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at responsewiseai@gmail.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and always within 30 days.

Our website uses a single cookie/session token to keep you signed in. The Chrome extension uses chrome.storage to save your settings, session, and ratings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

ResponseWiseAi is intended for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date at the top and, when appropriate, notify signed-in users by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
